Whilst we have the skills and experience to design and provide a building to meet your exact needs; our typical standard technical specification is as follows:

Floor Loading - 5 kN/m2

Fire Rating - Class "O" to walls and roof 30minute protection to internal and external walls

Insulation Values - Comply with L2 of 2004 Building Regulations

Typical Floor Specification - 50 x 100 GS grade timber floor joists 18mm plywood or particle board glued and nailed to the timber joists

External Walls - Either 75 x 50 timber stud framework clad with 9mm WBP plywood, decorated in texture paint. 80mm Mineral wool insulation inserted between studs. Internal lining of 12.5mm plasterboard.

Or 100 x 50 timber stud framework clad with Stoneflex maintenance free cladding. 60mm Celotex R insulation inserted between studs. Internal lining 12.5mm plasterboard.

Or Plastic coated steel external cladding factory bonded to a foam insulation core factory bonded to internal plasterboard lining.

Roof Design - Timber box beams at 2.4m centres spanned by softwood joists laid to a longitudinal fall. Roof deck of plywood or Sterling board over clad in felt. Surface water is discharged to ground level by means of PVC guttering and down pipes.

Internal finishes - Internal linings of 12.5mm plasterboard are decorated with emulsion paint in your choice of colour. All skirting, architrave etc. are of softwood finished in gloss paint in your choice of colour. Internal doors (except where specified as fire doors etc.) are hollow core plywood, finished in gloss paint in your choice of colour

Door furniture - is contract quality SAA latches and handles, with 3 lever mortice locks or mortice latches

External doors - External doors are solid core plywood or half glazed finished in gloss paint in your choice of colour.

Windows - Double-glazed uPVC windows (4/16/4) in Pilkington K glass with trickle vents, locks and restrictors

Heating - Individually controlled 2kW wall mounted electric convector heaters, wired to a single 24 hour timer
